B is for Back Breaking

There is a reason for the radio silence...errr, blog silence. I MOVED. Enough said, right? And my back feels like it's broken...but it will regenerate, right?

But now that we are almost all settled in, and there are only a few boxes left to unpack, I have been able to enjoy some of the good parts of all this work. A new house! With a fabulous view!

I never much fancied the Las Vegas lights. Perhaps because I was born and raised beneath them, I have grown accustom to their increasing intensity. But now that I have moved further outside of the city, up on the hillside of Black Mountain, I can see them better. This is my actual view from my computer where I now sit. My new writing space aint so bad, eh?

Now if I could just get all my books unpacked and my new bookshelf painted...I can get back to writing! Happy Holiday Weekend y'all.

What does your writing space look like?

  5. I wish my writing space has that great of a view. I either write in my bed or from the little office downstairs. One day I want a cabin at Bear Lake and my office room will over look the lake. ONE DAY... ONE DAY...

  6. That's a way more colorful view than most city lights! And what a view! Right now, I am staring at the space where two white walls come together. Inspiring, I know. Glad you're back!

  10. GORGEOUS! I love Las Vegas, I'll admit. It's such a fun place to come visit. And my writing space faces a wall, so you've got me beat by miles.

  11. Wow, what a great view! I live in a tiny place and usually write at the kitchen table, so my view is of the sink. Not too inspiring. :)

  12. Oh, lovely view. I could write there. ;)

My view is a garden with a pond and I can see over my neighbours fence... still quite nice though. Oh, and my hounds little kennel. Can't forget him.

  16. Lovely view! I wish I had one as inspiring as that. My writing space is in my basement (it's not a creepy, unfinished basement, thank goodness!). I hope the move went super smooth! ;)

  17. That is a fab view, but I could see where you would grow tired of it. Fluorescent eyes can be hard on the eyes.

  18. Wow. I usually think of Vegas as dirty--that looks BEAUTIFUL! :)
My writing view consists of a cluttered mess right now. Let's not talk about it.

  19. Beautiful view, though it may be too distracting for me when writing. My writing desk is up against a wall away from the window. No distractions...unless I turn around.
