Announcing: The Sky's The Limit Writing Contest

As many of you may know, for the launch of my debut book, KILLING RUBY ROSE, I teamed up with the Clark County School District (here in Las Vegas) and local sponsor Downtown Projects to host an epic one-page writing contest. It was called the "Killer Storytelling Writing Contest," (open to 9-12th graders) and it was a smashing success. Over 600 students entered, ten finalists were announced, two laptops, two Kindle Paperwhites, a Ruby Rose guitar signed by Mark Stoermer of the band The Killers, and more, were given away, and dreams came true. One of those dreams was mine! It was an amazing experience.

Well, for the launch of my second book in the Ruby Rose Series, entitled RESISTING RUBY ROSE (which comes out October 28th, 2014), I'm doing another contest. Except for this one is bigger, badder, and other B-words!

I'm teaming up with my publisher, Amazon Children's Publishing/Skyscape, and five other amazing authors within Amazon/Skyscape family:

·       CHRISTINA FARLEY, is the author of GILDED and SILVERN, and currently lives in Clermont, FL. Visit her at or @ChristinaFarley on twitter.
